Ethan has worked in clean energy strategy, policy, and development roles for 10 years. He began his career with an energy policy focus and spent two years working on US Department of Energy clean energy contracts at the North Carolina Clean Technology Center based within North Carolina State University. He shifted to the private sector in 2016 and has since worked for and consulted with multiple renewable energy firms, including Cypress Creek Renewables. Ethan has served on multiple solar trade association boards and in elected industry leadership roles.

He earned his BA from Davidson College and a Masters of Environmental Management with an energy concentration from Duke University. Ethan currently lives in Durham, North Carolina and manages the Carolinas team.
